The Doctors wanted to break down what “diet gambles” or diet mistakes you might be making. Dr Travis Stork welcomed Lynya Floyd from Family Circle magazine, who said the first diet gamble you could be making is “starting over tomorrow because of one slip-up.” One slip-up is okay, but don’t make an entire day of slip-ups. Make up for it the very next meal.
The second big gamble you’re making is thinking away you can exercise away that second slice of pizza. Dr Stork said you’re better off exercising before you enjoy the pizza, because you tend to make better choices that way. If you exercise before, you’ve also already had a calorie deficit.
The Drs: Don’t Ban Your Favorite Comfort Foods
The third gamble is banning your favorite comfort foods entirely. Lynya explained that you shouldn’t completely swear off your favorite foods, because willpower can wear off throughout the day. It’s better to tell yourself you can have it later or at another time.
Family Circle will be featuring The Doctors Million Dollar Healthy Home in their May issue, because they actually designed the bright, fun kids’ room in the home.
What are some more diet gambles you’re guilty of making?
The Drs: Fix For Botched Breast Augmentation
The Doctors shared an update on a woman who underwent a breast augmentation and was left with a completely lopsided chest. She saw Dr Andrew Ordon, who promised to fix her chest and give her symmetry. During the repair, Dr Ordon explained that breast augmentations involve creating a pocket in which to put the implant, but this was a bit more difficult because of all the scar tissue from the previous surgery.
It was a tough dissection because of the scar tissue, but they got it fixed and they think she’ll be super happy with the results.
The Drs: Breast Augmentation Results
The Doctors wanted to reveal what Michelle looked like now after having undergone the procedure. A few months after the procedure, Michelle was happy to show off the results and thank Dr Ordon for giving her the chest she wanted when she first underwent her breast augmentation. “Ordon” was the word of the day and you can use Ordon to enter for a chance to win products from the lingerie and loungewear brand Knock Out.
The Drs: Transgender Inmate Denied Hormone Therapy
The Doctors then shared their News in 2:00, reporting that Elton John and Michael Stipe are speaking out about transgender women in the Georgia Department of Corrections. A lawsuit was brought on by transgender inmate Ashley Diamond, and the U.S. Justice Department called the denial of her hormone therapy “cruel and unusual punishment.”
The stars made a statement that said, in part, “We applaud the U.S. Department of Justice in arguing that Georgia’s policy of denying transgender inmates their medically necessary hormone treatment is unconstitutional.”
The Drs: Contagious Flu For Dogs
A highly contagious respiratory disease is responsible for the illness in over 1,000 dogs in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. It’s known as H3N8 and 5% of the cases are fatal. The virus doesn’t affect humans, but can be passed between dogs up to 20 feet apart. Symptoms include fever, coughing, difficulty breathing, loss of appetite, and lethargy. Some vets are now recommending vaccinations for canine flu.
Will you be taking your dogs to get vaccinated after hearing the news?

The Drs: DIY Vapor Cubes
The Doctors then shared that you can make your own vapor cubes to help your shower or bath smell like a spa. Just mix baking soda, corn starch, vapor-rub, and water before letting it dry in an ice cube tray overnight. Next time you’re feeling a little under the weather, drop one in the water while you soak.
