The Doctors: Dr. Rachael’s Family
Dr. Rachael Ross’s whole family joined her on the show today. Dr. Rachael’s whole family are doctors. They have a family physician practice called the Ross Family Practice. Dr. Rachael’s father, Dr. David Ross, has been practicing medicine since 1955. Her mother, Ruthie Ross,who manages the practice, wanted to encourage her children to be a physician like their father. Dr. Nathaniel Ross, Dr. Rachael’s brother, said his dad influenced him a lot. Dr. Ruth Ross is an orthodontist.
Dr. Rachael’s other sister, Rebekka, was also a doctor and she was quiet and reserved. She passed away from sickle cell disease at the age of 35. Dr. Rachael said she celebrates her life and said Rebekka laughed and loved a lot. Dr. Rachael said she loves her family and wouldn’t be here without them.

Dr. Rachael Ross’ family came on The Doctors to talk about being physicians.
“I guess Rachael is the reason we’re here. And I feel good that I worked so hard to get her here,” Dr. David Ross said.
Dr. Jennifer Ashton said she always rides to The Doctors with Dr. Rachael and she always talks about how wonderful her family was. Ruthie Ross said that she sometimes has to crack the whip at the practice, being the manager of it. She said sometimes she has to threaten to dock people’s pay.
Dr. Rachael said she can’t remember the last time her mother didn’t call her Dr. Rachael.

Dr. Ruth Ross became an orthodontist instead of a doctor and she said she didn’t think her family was supportive at first. But now they’re jealous because she’s got orthodontist hours.
The Doctors: Losing Rebekka Ross To Sickle Cell
Ruthie Ross said she tried to encourage her family to move on from the death of her daughter Rebekka to sickle cell. She said they tried to stay busy and prayed and cried with one another. She said Rebekka would be very proud of Dr. Rachael.
The Doctors: Dr. Rachael’s Other Brothers
Dr. Rachael has two brothers who are not in the medical profession. Tony works in logistics and David works in sales. The two of them sat in the audience and Dr. Travis introduced them at the end, even though he didn’t ask them any questions. Both men looked a bit angry. Probably because Dr. Rachael’s entire family was on a nice coach on stage except for them.
