The Doctors: Younger Blood to Reduce Signs of Aging?
The Doctors TV show talked about the possible discovery of the long sought after fountain of youth.
A recent Stanford University study found that older mice that were injected with the blood from younger mice were able to reverse some of their signs of aging in the brain. Researchers are hoping that this will someday help Alzheimer’s Disease.
Dr. Andrew Ordon said that blood is known to have replenishing effects, and as you age they go down.

Dr. Travis Stork said that we tend to focus on the outside, but aging also occurs in the inside. Starting in our 30s, we can also lose brain mass, which will effect our memories. In terms of the outside, one of the first signs of aging is in your skin. As you age, you get wrinkles, dry skin and age spots.
The Drs. invited Dawn, a 50-year-old model on the show. Dawn started her modeling career at age 46.
The Doctors asked Dawn how she maintains her youthful appearance, and she said she’s very active and runs every morning. She also does bootcamp, yoga and cycling.
The Doctors: Sheep Placenta Facial Review
One new facial is promising to unlock your long lost baby face using human placenta, human sperm and snail secretions. Another facial uses nightingale droppings to reveal a Geisha-like appearance. If your hair is lackluster, try a bull semen hair mask.
Dr. Stork said that celebs like Victoria Beckham, Donatella Versace and Simon Cowell have tried another wacky facial–the sheep placenta facial. Dr. Ordon and an audience member, Susan, headed backstage to try it out.

Dermatologist Dr. Annie Chiu applied the facial to Susan, and said that it’s full of amino acids and nutrients. The facial is also cruelty free.
Dr. Chiu also applied a light chemical peel so that the skin was more receptive to the sheep placenta. She finished it off with a stem cell gold serum, with 24 karat gold flakes. Check out the results of the sheep placenta facial in the video below.
