The Doctors: McDonald’s Happy Meal Free From Decomposition
A mother in Alaska did an experiment with a McDonald’s Happy Meal over a course of six years. The mom shared on Facebook that six years after purchasing a Happy Meal at McDonald’s, after the food sat in her office for that time, the only change she noticed as that the food smelled like cardboard instead of chicken and french fries. The food had no mold or other hints of just how old it was! The Happy Meal was purchased in 2010, and Dr Rachael Ross pointed out that “not even the maggots wanted it” and the food even looked almost the same!
Preservatives aren’t necessarily a bad thing, because they can prevent the growth of bacteria that leads to foodborne illness. If you slice up real food, like an apple, it will naturally decompose. But processed foods are designed not to spoil and taste the way they do. The truth is that the food in that Happy Meal could easily last a lot longer than just six years! More than anything, it’s important to be aware of the food you’re eating. Even some salads at fast food restaurants can have more fat and calories than a cheeseburger. McDonald’s made a statement explaining that it’s scientifically known that decomposition of food occurs under certain conditions, and without the right amount of moisture in the food or the environment, will prevent decomposition in any food.

After hearing about the mom’s experiment, do you still plan on purchasing food from McDonald’s or has it encouraged you to change your ways?

The Doctors: “Saddle Surgery” For Women
Next, The Doctors discussed a new procedure that’s on the rise. Many women are turning to surgery to make their bike rides more comfortable. It’s called saddle surgery, and the women are claiming that their private parts make the rides uncomfortable, so they have some of the tissue removed. Some women may get the procedure because of the way their pants fit as well. If they have a large amount of tissue between their legs, it could cause them to be really uncomfortable. Dr Stork pointed out that men just have to kind-of deal with the discomfort that comes from a bike seat, so you’re much better off experimenting with a different bike seat or different underwear and garments.
Dr Ordon explained that the bottom line is that women just want to feel more comfortable in their bodies.
