The Drs: Feel Younger To Live Longer?
The Doctors wanted to know if feeling younger could actually make you live longer. Researchers at the University College London found that seniors who felt about ten years younger were possibly healthier and had fewer diseases, while those feeling older than their real age had double the risk of dying from heart disease.

Dr Rachael Ross said we need to start earlier feeling younger, not be in our 30s complaining about how old we feel. Dr Drew Ordon joked that his wife has been telling him for years to grow up so when he read about this story the night before, he read it to his wife, who agreed that he’s as youthful as the day she met him. He said he does all the same things, just maybe a little slower.
The Drs: The Power Of Optimism
Dr Jennifer Ashton said a lot of things get better with age. Dr Travis Stork said seniors who felt three years younger than their actual age lived eight years longer. Leeza Gibbons, TV personality and Celebrity Apprentice contestant, weighed in, saying you have a choice on how you frame your life and whether you’re optimistic or pessimistic. She said believing that you have some sort of control over your destiny is a powerful thing.
Dr Stork said studies show time and time again the power of optimism.
The Drs: Man Uses Tinder App To Hitchike Across The Country
The Doctors then moved on to share an incredible story about an odd use for the Tinder app. One man named Daniel used over 30 women to hitchhike all the way across the country. He traveled more than 1,200 miles by getting straight to the point and asking the women to drive him to his next location. The Doctors said the experience for Dan turned out to be an eye-opening one, and he even changed a few lives along the way.
Dan joined the show over the phone from the U.K. and Dr Stork said he was a bit jealous. He explained that he was hitchhiking across Canada in order to get to a friend’s wedding. He started out the traditional way, hitchhiking on the side of the road, but “the novelty wore off” and he wanted to take things into his own hands so he decided to use Tinder to do that.
Dr Ordon said, “He’s looking for a ride first, but then it may turn into a really good ride.”
The Drs: Bizarre Use For Tinder Dating App
Dr Ross explained that Tinder is a dating app that shows you people in your area that are also looking to meet people. He said it’s a location-based app and that’s how he used to it to hitchhike back to New York after the wedding. Dan said he was never in a bad situation and the traveling seemed a bit normal to him. The Doctors proposed a movie based off his story.
