The Chew: Clark Gregg + Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
From blockbuster movies and the new ABC series Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., actor Clark Gregg was in The Chew kitchen with Michael Symon to make the Greatest American Hero Sandwich Recipe, a giant Italian hero. Gregg’s action series airs Tuesday nights on ABC, and it’s even more character-driven than the Marvel movies that spawned it.
Gregg’s wife, Jennifer Grey, got down in the kitchen with Mario Batali on a past episode of The Chew. Everyone seemed to playfully suggest that Batali skipped the show to avoid running into Gregg and having a confrontation about his hands-on approach to cooking with the star’s wife.
Portions of The Avengers were filmed in Symon’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
The Chew: Michael Symon Giant Italian Hero Sandwich Recipe Ingredients
Though Gregg plays a leader on his new series, he needed an assist in the kitchen, so I guess he does not do a whole lot of cooking at home. But he did a good job assisting Symon with breading the eggplant. “It doesn’t have to be perfect to be delicious,” Symon said, which is good advice for anyone starting out in the kitchen.

Featuring help from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Clark Gregg, Michael Symon prepared the Greatest American Hero Sandwich Recipe with fried eggplant.
