Mario Batali described his book as “relaxing”. Turner said his publisher approached him about the book and it terrified him at first but after he came to terms with it, it really excited him. He said it was an opportunity to tell a lot of stories that he hadn’t been able to. He said it’s a lot of stories explaining why he is who he is. Daphne Oz also couldn’t help but mention that he is a “man-scaper” because he shaves his chest. He said if he didn’t he would be like Sasquatch.
He said all three of his sons are playing baseball and two of them take music lessons. He truly seems like a working family man.
