Her Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus are good enough to eat on their own. But Daphne took it a step further by whipping up a Herbed Goat Cheese Dip to serve with them for dipping! The Chew: Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus With Herbed Goat Cheese Dip Recipe Ingredients

Daphne Oz’s Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus with Herbed Goat Cheese Dip may just be your new favorite appetizer! (galant / Flickr)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- freshly ground black pepper
- 20 asparagus spears – ends trimmed
- 1/2 tsp smoked sweet paprika
- 10 strips bacon – halved lengthwise
For the Goat Cheese Dip:
- 1/2 C chives – sliced thin
- 1 clove garlic – minced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- freshly ground black pepper
- 10 oz goat cheese – at room temperature
- 1/4 C parsley – finely chopped
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 lemon – zested
The Chew: Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus With Herbed Goat Cheese Dip Recipe Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil then a dash of paprika and pepper
- Wrap each asparagus spear in bacon
- Put on the baking sheet and bake for 7 minutes per side until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender
- Broil for the last minute of cooking to make the bacon crispy
For the Goat Cheese Dip:
- Whip the goat cheese in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment or in a food processor
- Remove to a large bowl and add the parsley, chives, milk, garlic, olive oil, and lemon zest
- Season with pepper and serve
