The Chew had a special cook-off between three chefs who work to feed the hungry. Jonathan Jernigan made a great Mashed Potatoes with Collard Greens and Bacon recipe, an incredibly delicious recipe that looked amazing. Jonathan works with the Cathedral Kitchen in Camden, New Jersey, where he not only helps feed the homeless, he helps teach culinary skills to people who need a second chance in life.

Continuing The Chew’s special cook-off between three chefs who work to feed the hungry, Angie Shoffner made a Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe. This recipe is incredible because it’s made by a nutritionist who understands wanting to keep the cookies delicious so you want to eat them while still making them healthy. It was well worth the effort! Angie works with the East Texas Food Bank.
