The Chew: Steve Harvey Act Like A Success, Think Like A Success Review
Comedian Steve Harvey came by The Chew to talk about his new book, Act Like A Success, Think Like A Success. Steve Harvey said that his new book was all about helping people identify what their specific gifts are and how to be successful in them.
The Chew: Steve Harvey Dream Big
Steve Harvey said one of the biggest mistakes people make is that they don’t dream big enough. He said in order to overcome your fear, your dream has to be bigger than your fear. If you have small dreams, any fear can crush it. The bigger the dream, the more you’re likely to try to accomplish that dream.
“People die living their life on the edge of the cliff watching other people fly and soar and they never take that leap of faith themselves, because why would you leap off the cliff if the fear is bigger than the dream? So I just aim for stuff that’s so outlandish, so outrageous, so unthinkable, that the only way to do it is that I got to jump,” he said.
The Chew: Steve Harvey Marriage Counsel
Because, as Clinton Kelly said, Steve Harvey is the “king of advice,” Clinton Kelly brought down Maria and Joe, a married couple who needed help with a food-related issue. Maria said that her husband is sabotaging her diet. She said she’s trying to exercise and have a good diet, but she says her husband won’t stop buying chips. Joe said that just because they’re in the house doesn’t mean she has to eat them.
Steve Harvey said that he and his wife are currently doing a vegan diet together temporarily and he said it wouldn’t work if they weren’t both on the same page. He said that Joe can eat his chips, but he should eat them in the driveway or away from the house because Maria has a problem with the chips.
Joe said he was trying to help her by buying one bag of chips instead of four. Steve said he should support his teammate, because Joe might need Maria’s help down the road on something else.
