Grant loves to prepare desserts and sweet treats, even more so when they’re easy to put together. This time he shared the recipe for a dessert that can be put together in no time, but should sit in the fridge overnight or for eight hours to chill and settle. Rachael Ray: Pumpkin Pie Trifle Recipe Ingredients

- 1 1/2 C cold milk
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 C powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 15-oz can pumpkin puree
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 C heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp ginger
- 2 sleeves cinnamon-flavored graham crackers + more to garnish
Rachael Ray: Pumpkin Pie Trifle Recipe Directions
- In a large bowl, whisk the pumpkin puree, vanilla pudding mix, milk, and pumpkin pie spice together until it begins to thicken
- Put the mixture into a piping bag or a large plastic zip-top bag and place in the fridge until you’re ready to build the trifle
- In a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form
- Add the ginger, sugar, and salt, then whip to combine
- Scrape the mixture into a different piping bag
- Put a layer of graham crackers in the bottom of a large trifle dish or glass bowl
- Pipe 1/4 of the pumpkin mixture over the graham crackers
- Put another layer of the graham crackers on top and pipe 1/3 of the whipped cream over top
- Keep building, alternating between whipped cream and pumpkin filling, ending with the pumpkin filling on top
- Put the trifle in the frige and chill for at least eight hours or overnight
