Kelly & Michael: September 8 2014
Kelly & Michael had a great start to the week on September 8 2014. Steve Buscemi came by to talk about what it was like to film the end of his show Boardwalk Empire. He also talked about being a firefighter, how he went back after 9/11 and his new HBO documentary on firefighters. Max Greenfield also came by to talk to Kelly & Michael about his show New Girl and his 35th birthday. Kelly & Michael also spent a lot of the show remembering Joan Rivers. They’ve done a great job paying tribute to her, and she was a big part of their show.
Kelly & Michael: Inbox Joan Rivers + Mr. T
Kelly & Michael ended the day by opening up their Inbox and reading fan messages. One message said that Michael would make a great Mr. T. People confuse him with Rampage Jackson. Another liked that she wore white shoes after Labor Day. It wasn’t a tribute to Joan Rivers though. They ended the show with a picture of Joan Rivers.

Kelly & Michael: Neil Patrick harris + David Burtka Wedding
Kelly & Michael first talked about how the Detroit Lions were going to do this season, and Michael thought that they had a pretty good chance of doing well. Kelly then said that she spent the weekend in Italy because she went to Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka’s wedding.
–> She said it was a really beautiful wedding.
Kelly & Michael: Joan Rivers, Tough Mudder, Us Open + Royal Baby
Kelly & Michael then talked about Joan Rivers’ funeral and how much she meant to the show. They also brought up the Tough Mudder competition that they did on Friday. Kelly & Michael then talked about the US Open finals and congratulated Serena Williams on her win.
–> Kelly & Michael also talked about how there’s going to be a new royal baby.
Kelly & Michael: Steve Buscemi HBO Documentary
Steve Buscemi came by to talk to Kelly & Michael about his firefighter documentary and the final season of his show Boardwalk Empire. Buscemi had been a firefighter in the ‘80s and went back after 9/11. He then did a documentary about firefighters, which will air tonight on HBO.

Kelly & Michael: Max Greenfield New Girl Season 4
Max Greenfield also came by to talk to Kelly & Michael about his show New Girl. He also talked about his 35th birthday, his daughter, and his new dog. Greenfield also talked about how much he loves weddings and how he recently officiated his friend’s wedding, though he kept the jokes to a minimum.
