Kelly & Michael: Auto Show Week Sedan Day
Live’s New York Auto Show Week continued with Alan Taylor from The Drive. And it was Sedan day. Taylor said, “Sedan’s are the meat and potatoes” of cars. They’re not sports cars, but they’re still fun to check out. (Also look at this year’s Green Cars and Versatility Vehicles.)
Kelly and Michael: Acura TLX Review
The first sedan was the Acura TLX world debut. It’s on the “luxury side.” It has all-wheel steering or all-wheel drive with precision, which is very impressive. It has V6 and 4 cylinder aspects. The steering wheel will shake and the seat belt will tighten if you start to drift. And the car will brake if you don’t look up. It’s like Asimo, Taylor said. It’s $30,000. “Will I have to drive this car?” Kelly said, laughing about all its capabilities.

The next car was the world debut of the Hyundai Sonata. It’s $21,000. It has safety abilities. It also allows you to talk to your stereo with it talking back, and it can read your texts to you.
It also has warning systems, blind spot detection, and other safety features. The Sonata gets 35 miles to the gallon. Michael got in to see what the Sonata felt like. “I never get tired of watching Michael Strahan get into a car,” Kelly said. She’s always surprised he can fit.
Kelly and Michael: Chrysler 200 Review
The third car was the Chrysler 200. Taylor was very excited about this car. He tried to pull off the sheet with a little flourish and said, “bam!” He didn’t quite get the sheet off all the way, though. The Chrysler 200 has all wheel drive.
It has a heated steering wheel, and heated and cool seats. It also has crash detection and text to voice. The Chrysler 200 has all kinds of sensors sensing what’s going on. It has a lane departure warning system and 8.5-inch screen. It is the luxury car of Chrysler family. It costs $21,000.
Kelly & Michael: Toyota Camry Review
The last car was the #1 car for the last 12 years. It was the Toyota Camry. Kelly decided that all the cars would make great nail colors. The Camry gets 43 miles with a hybrid. It’s $23,000. Michael said that the Camry has a cool front end, and Taylor said that’s because of its new aggressive styling.
