Harrison Ford: What Is Paranoia?
In Paranoia, Harrison Ford looks like a cancer patient hanging out with Liam Hemsworth, Amber Heard and Gary Oldman. I think if you muted the trailer it would look a bit like The Bucket List 2. Really the film is about Hemsworth’s character rising to the top of the corporate ladder.
He must spy on his boss’s old mentor to secure his multi-billion dollar salary. Ford plays the CEO and President of the tech company, Jock Goddard, who Hemsworth must form a relationship with and spy on.
Paranoia hit theaters August 16 2013, the day after Ford appears on Kelly & Michael.
Is Harrison Ford Returning for Star Wars Episode VII?
Harrison Ford played the roguish Han Solo in Star Wars episodes IV-VI. His character still has ladies weak in the knees years later. We all love Han, and he knows it. But what would make the upcoming Star Wars reboot better than having Harrison Ford bringing his character back to life? And don’t say Carrie Fisher in her metal bikini.
Ford has said he is open to returning to the franchise and told fans at Comic-Con that he has faith in director J.J. Abrams. Fans don’t have as much faith in Disney spearheading (and funding) the project.
As one of the new generation of Star Wars fans, I am excited for the reboot, but nervous. Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman were pretty great, but if Disney chooses to bring in someone like Selena Gomez, I will have some angry letters to write. This Star Wars will be able to stand on its own without instant money names like Gomez or Justin Bieber. God forbid they bring him in.
