Kelly and Michael’s campaign to End Winter Now may not be working, but it is providing a valuable distraction and a reminder that these frigid temperatures must cease eventually. On Wednesday’s show, the theme continues, and the show will feature visits from Alan Cumming and Carly Rae Jepsen.

Kelly and Michael: Alan Cumming Cabaret

Alan Cumming is returning to the show to speak with Kelly and Michael on Wednesday’s show. Michael just saw him on the runway at Kenneth Cole’s fashion show. The actor also stars in the current Broadway production of Cabaret, because he always seems to be juggling many commitments and staying busy.

He is also a cast member on The Good Wife, which returns to CBS with new episodes in March. I hope he brings some dish about what’s ahead for the characters when he turns up on Live February 12.

Kelly & Michael: Carly Rae Jepsen Cinderella

It’s going to be a busy hour for Broadway buffs, because Carly Rae Jepsen, the pop star you know for her smash hit “Call Me Maybe,” is starring in Cinderella at the Broadway Theatre. Plus, Fran Drescher is playing her mother in a limited engagement.

This sounds like a hot ticket, and I’ll be interested to hear what made the pop star jump to the stage. Check out her chat with Kelly & Michael on Wednesday morning. Maybe she will even give a performance while she is hanging around the studio.

End Winter Now Week continues on Wednesday, as fashion expert Lawrence Zarian takes over the show with a preview of what you might see on the beach this year. It’s a look at men’s swimwear trends for 2014 on the February 11 show. It’s always nice to mix things up with a men’s fashion segment now and then. It’s shaping up to be a great morning on Live!
