On August 14 2013, Live! with Kelly & Michael pulls another guest co-host out of the pile. Maria Menounos, co-host of entertainment news show Extra, will join Michael Strahan while Kelly Ripa continues her vacation. From The Butler, Forest Whitaker is talking about the role that might get him another Oscar. Then, the guys of Duck Dynasty drop the duck calls for the day with Michael and Maria. Also, Candice Glover performs.

Duck Dynasty: Season 4 Premiere August 14

The fellas of Duck Dynasty are really just normal guys beneath those beards. They have families, a business, and a multi-million dollar empire. Well, OK, the beards aren’t the only thing making them stand out these days.

Duck Dynasty is bringing families together in new ways. There’s finally a reality show where you can still watch the people doing silly antics, but there is a level of morals and family values. Every episode ends with Willie Robertson (CEO of Duck Commander) explaining the lessons they learned while patriarch Phil Robertson prays over their family meal.

The Robertson clan wrapped their third season earlier this year and they’re kicking off season four on August 14 2013. Get ready for more ducks, more family, and more mayhem from America’s new favorite television family. (Take that, Kardashians.)

Kelly & Michael: The Butler’s Forest Whitaker

Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker rounds out the cast of The Butler on Live! with Kelly & Michael. From Oprah to Lenny Kravitz, his co-stars are singing his praises for his performance as Cecil Gaines, an African-American butler in the White House during the 20th century.

The Butler has been getting major buzz from viewers and critics, mostly positive feedback. I can already feel the Oscar nomination for Whitaker.

Candice Glover: Music Speaks Debut Album

Also on this episode, Candice Glover, winner of season 12 of American Idol. Following her winning performance in May, Glover’s debut album Music Speaks and single “I Am Beautiful” were available for pre-order. The album will be released on October 8 2013.
