Kelly and Michael: It’s a Small World 50th Anniversary
Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan have done Live! from Disney World, which is a fun family vacation for them and their families. The ride It’s a Small World is turning 50 years old, which led the hosts to sway in their chairs as the classic song played.
“It’s the first ride we go on,” Kelly said, because it brings back family memories for her, even though her kids are too grown to enjoy it now.
Kelly & Michael: Tripadvisor Top US Tourist Destinations
New York City is the #1 tourist destination, according to a new survey. Tripadvisor put New York in the top spot for the second consecutive year. San Francisco was second on the list, followed by Chicago and Las Vegas. The home of Disney World, Orlando, Florida, fell to #10 this year.

Tripadvisor presented its annual list of the top tourist destinations, and though New York City is still #1, the rest of the list surprised Michael Strahan.
Strahan said he would have expected Vegas to place higher, especially now that it has become more kid- and family-friendly. However, he does not approve of the roller coaster on top of a building or the bungee jumping opportunities.
Kelly and Michael: Las Vegas Bungee Jump & Ice Bar
Executive producer Michael Gelman did a bungee jump, which he said was for the good of the show and the benefit of the audience. Strahan could not believe he would do that, because he said he is too afraid of the ground. But Gelman said there is not as much impact as you expect.
Gelman also ventured to the Ice Bar in Las Vegas. Now that there is one in New York, Strahan would like to do a show from there, but Kelly said she is already too cold in the regular studio, and she was reluctant to incorporate vodka at 9 a.m., because “it could get messy by 9:04.”
Kelly & Michael: Golfer Bitten By Rattlesnake
A California golfer was bitten by a rattlesnake, and Kelly thought that might mean Michael needs to quit golfing, due to his paralyzing fear of snakes. The man was walking through tall grass when the incident occurred. Strahan suggested carrying a club and keeping your eyes open. You have to be alert, I guess, especially if you hate snakes.
The man remained calm and returned to his party, informing them that he had been bitten. Kelly said she does not have that ability, but staying calm keeps your blood from circulating too much and spreading the poison through your body, she claimed.
Kelly and Michael: Women Over Age 100
How many people in New York City do you think are over age 100? There are nearly 2,100 residents who have entered triple digits. That’s out of a total of 55,000 in the entire United States. A whopping 81% of these are women.
Spring It On Travel Trivia: Kristin Chenoweth
Nicole Hart from Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania, played trivia to win a vacation to the Fairmont Mayakoba Resort in Mexico.
What did Kristin Chenoweth say her real name is?
The answer was Kristi Dawn, so Nicole is going to Mexico. Also, someone in the audience received Lenox China.
