Kelly shared a Schedule of Appreciation, which included suggestions such as morning coffee in bed and keeping favorite snacks stocked in the kitchen.

Other romantic suggestions included love notes, washing the car or filling it up with gas. “Women do not like gas stations,” Strahan observed. You could also surprise her with a special dinner when she gets home. Ripa seemed disgusted by the idea to mail your partner a thank-you card.

On special occasions, this Wall Street Journal report suggested treating someone to a salad for succeeding on a diet. Compliment his jokes or brag about her work performance. All joking aside, the hosts seemed to think it was nice to appreciate your relationship. But Strahan said that this can up the stakes on occasions like Valentine’s Day.

Kelly said that she believes Valentine’s Day is for dating people and children.
