Kelly & Michael: Hugh Jackman
Hugh Jackman, who stars in The Wolverine, came to the show to talk about the new film. He was apparently listening very closely to the part of the show that discussed nude beaches, because he did mention that there aren’t any nude beaches in Australia because they are all nude anyways. I think this might have been a joke, but you never know.

In addition to being in The Wolverine, Hugh Jackman was recently in a Broadway production, as well. One time, while performing in The Boy From Oz, Hugh was taking a moment from the performance to speak with the crowd a little bit, when one woman shouted from the back that she would like to bite his butt.
He called her bluff and told her to come to the stage and prove it, and she did, very hard. He had a bruise afterwards. During another show, a woman ran down to the front of the stage and lifted her top up. Apparently, we all need to start going to Broadway shows with Hugh Jackman in them.
Kelly and Michael: Hugh Jackman’s Children
There may be plenty of ladies courting him in all sorts of unique ways, but as you all know, Hugh Jackman is taken. He currently has a 13-year-old and an eight-year-old child. The teen son thing is going swimmingly, according to Hugh.
His son told him to not talk about him on the show, but Hugh couldn’t help but mention a story where his son was using Hugh’s role in The Wolverine to pick up girls. Though Hugh might have ruffled his son’s feather by outing him like that, his son was very excited to go to a 7 a.m. screening of Wolverine, so it looks like Hugh has gotten some cool points.
Hugh Jackman Had Never Heard Of X-Men Before Playing Wolverine
With The Wolverine hitting theaters soon, this marks the sixth time and the 13th year that Hugh Jackman has played Wolverine. To put things in perspective, Hugh was playing his first role as Wolverine when his son was born. It’s strange that he’s so comfortable with the character now, because when he was first offered the part all those years ago, Hugh had never even heard of X-Men.
So confused was Hugh when he first took the role that he didn’t even think wolverines were real animals, but rather creatures just made up for the sake of the movie. To study for the role, Hugh actually went and studied up on wolves, which the director said was totally the wrong idea for the part. As you can probably guess, Hugh had to go back and start studying all over again.
Live!: Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine Workout
If you’ve seen Hugh Jackman without his shirt on in his role as Wolverine, you know just how jacked he is. If you want that body, though, you’re going to have to put in a lot of work. Hugh is at the gym for three hours a day, with an hour each of cardio and weights, then an hour more in the afternoon. He also takes in 6,000 calories a day based on a diet that he got from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Kelly & Michael: Hugh Jackman Plays Celebrity
Hugh Jackman plays a game with his kids on the airplane when they’re on long flights that he calls “Celebrity,” where you put a card on your forehead with a famous person’s name written on it and try to guess which celebrity you are playing as. After he brought it up, naturally, everyone had to give the game a whirl, calling it “You Don’t Know Jack.” Get it? Hugh JACKman is visiting so they’re calling it…never mind.
Kelly pulled the first card, and with the assistance of some great hints from Hugh, she guessed very quickly that it was Jackie Chan. The next celebrity was Randy Jackson, who, once again, was guessed very quickly because of Hugh’s great hints. Jack Nicholson apparently has a bigger penchant for wearing his sunglasses indoors, because that was all Hugh had to say before his name was guessed. Other stars that were brought up included Michael Jackson, Samuel L. Jackson, and even Hugh Jackman himself.
The Wolverine opens Friday, July 26, 2013.
