Live! with Kelly & Michael: Mark Wahlberg
The gracious Mark Wahlberg greeted the live audience with style and class. He hugged and kiss the ladies on the cheek and shook hands with all of the gentlemen. Kelly Ripa said the last time he was on the show, his hand was badly injured, making those things pretty impossible. His hand was bandaged and on ice, but it’s healed now. He had a strange insect bite from something in Miami, Florida that got infected.

Transformers 4 Filming in Utah & Detroit
Wahlberg is now back on the job, working hard on Transformers 4. He was in Utah at the same time as Kelly Ripa, which was quite confusing. Ripa was asked repeatedly if she was in Utah “with Mark,” to which she responded yes because that is her husband’s name. The rumor that Kelly Ripa and Mark Wahlberg are traveling Utah together is completely busted.
Transformers 4 is now filming in Detroit, Michigan. While there, Wahlberg visited the University of Michigan football stadium. He took his sons with him and they shot some video tossing the pigskin on the field. Wahlberg’s seven-year-old son plays football, among other sports, and he recently scored a 100-yard touchdown by running the ball the whole way. Mark said it’s the best feeling to watch his children play sports.
Michael Strahan Role in Entourage Movie?
It seems like the Entourage movie has been brewing for years, but now Michael Strahan wants to kick the production up a notch. He bargained with Wahlberg for a role in the movie, based on the HBO series, based on Mark Wahlberg‘s life. He said he would love to just walk through the background.
Wahlberg said he’s not sure if he’ll be in the film. He doesn’t mind not being in the film, but he would bring in Strahan and they could kidnap Turtle or Ari.
2 Guns: Mark Wahlberg Vs Denzel Washington
In his newest film, 2 Guns, Mark Wahlberg got Denzel Washington in his first comedic role. Washington told Wahlberg that he wanted to do comedy, but has been held back by more serious roles and wanting to find the perfect role to come in with. Wahlberg’s first real comedy role was in The Other Guys with Will Ferrell. Washington had just wrapped Flight, which earned him Academy Award nominations, and was looking for a lighter role.
Wahlberg loves Denzel Washington in this film. Their characters don’t become friends until almost the end of the film, but he loved Washington’s wit throughout the project. There is also action, but Wahlberg doesn’t like to do his own stunts. He’ll do what’s required, but he knows that he is older and has kids to think of.
2 Guns comes out August 2 2013.
