Live With Kelly: Jaime Pressly Interview

Jaime Pressly has been on such hit shows as “My Name Is Earl” and is currently starring in the Fox Comedy “I Hate My Teenage Daughter.” Jaime came out wearing a leopard print dress and was skinny as all get out. I had to admit it, but she did look good, though. Kelly even stated that she looked like a modern day Marilyn Monroe. Jaime told Kelly and Neil Patrick Harris that she never got dressed up so when she does appearances, she likes to go all out.

She told Neil Patrick Harris that she saw his gorgeous babies backstage and that she just wanted to eat them up.

She said that they had Angelina Jolie’s lips, to which Neil Patrick Harris responded that he was not revealing who the egg donor was, but maybe… (Yeah right!)

Jaime Pressly talked about her 4-year-old son, Dezi James, and even showed a picture to the audience.  (Check out his nursery at http://celebritybabies.people.com/2007/04/28/jaime_pressly_s_1/) Jaime claimed that Dezi didn’t have the terrible 2s or 3s, however, the 4s were a different story. (It always catches up to you in one way or another.) She told Neil Patrick Harris that Mark, Kelly’s husband, did a couple of episodes of “I Hate My Teenage Daughter” and he was such a joy to work with. Kelly told Jaime that Mark loved working on the show. (Now that we’re over the kissing up, could we move on, please?)

The hardest thing about Dezi was that when Jaime got home from a hard day at work, he always wanted to play. He wanted mommy to be the princess and he wanted to be the dragon slayer that saved her. (Awwww!) Unfortunately for Jaimie, all she wanted to do was sit on her butt and let him play around her instead of with her. (Moms, raise your hands if you’ve had this feeling.) Kelly and Jaime agreed that having 1 kid was the hardest thing to do because they had no other kids to play with and looked to mom to be the buddy. Jaime admitted to just wanting to send her kid off to a play date and pick him up later, but you can’t do that. (You can’t? Oops!)

Live With Kelly: I Hate My Teenage Daughter Premiere

Jaime’s new show, “I Hate My Teenage Daughter” is premiering tonight at 9:30 pm on Fox after the X-factor. Jaime raved about her co-star, Katie Finneran, stating that the Tony Award winning actor was one of the hardest workers in show biz. (Neil Patrick Harris agreed since he had worked with Katie before.) Jaime gave the story of how Katie’s baby was only 7 weeks old when they shot in Miami. In between segments, Katie had to pump breast milk and then get right back to the set. After the pilot was shot, Katie left for NY and returned the next day, but in the meantime, she had to learn the steps and her lines via computer.
