Usher: Vacation In Mexico With Michael Strahan
Superstar singer Usher stopped by Live! to discuss his upcoming debut as judge on The Voice. Guest co-host Kristin Chenoweth was excited to meet Usher, who complimented her hosting skills. Every time Usher said something nice about Kristin, she basically turned to putty!
Michael and Usher are friends and recently vacationed together in Mexico. They showed off a few pictures from the trip, and Usher was sporting a slightly cheesy Hawaiian shirt. They both admitted that tequila played a big part in their trip, and if the ladies hadn’t intervened, they’d probably still be downing shots.

Usher: Visit To the Oval Office
Kristin and Usher have both performed for the President and First Lady, but only Usher had the chance to visit the Oval Office. He and Janelle Monae received a tour from the First Lady and took some pictures. Kristin pointed out how very nice, and very tall, the Obamas are. Then again, everyone is tall compared to Kristin, who stands at just 4’11.”
Usher: Son Naviyd Lost First Tooth
Usher gave an update on his adorable sons, Usher and Naviyd. Naviyd recently crossed a big milestone by losing his first tooth. He received five dollars from the Tooth Fairy, so he is now wiggling all his other teeth, too.
Usher: The Voice Judge
Usher has filled Cee Lo Green’s spot as judge on The Voice, and he’s having a great time at his new job. He loves working with Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, and he could stare at Shakira all day because she’s so gorgeous. Usher believes that appearing on the show has brought out his humorous side.
Usher: Karaoke Sing-Off
Finally, Michael got his wish and they all participated in a karaoke sing-off. Kristin sang “Don’t Cha” by the Pussycat Dolls, and Usher sang “Rock With You” by Michael Jackson. Michael sang “Poison” by Bell Biv Devoe. He was definitely a little out of tune, but he made up for it with lots of enthusiasm.
In the end, the audience voted and Michael, once again, came out on top. Usher wasn’t too bitter, because he figured that if he had won, Michael would never have invited him back to the show. The Voice airs March 25 2013 on NBC.
