Kelly & Michael: Channing Tatum Ballroom Dancing At Oscars
New dad and the hottest man in America, Channing Tatum, had the ladies screaming. He broke out a little bit of the dance moves her showed on off in Magic Mike. We got to see his ballroom side at the Oscars, hosted by Seth MacFarlane, earlier this year. He and Charlize Theron did a ballroom dance and he said it was not something he was used to or prepared for.
“I was terrified to drop Charlize Theron, because she would beat me up,” Channing said.
Carrie Ann Inaba said he would have gotten a perfect score on Dancing With The Stars.
Baby Everly Tatum Has Dad Wrapped Around Her Finger
The smile on Channing Tatum’s face was not for his new movie or successful dancing skills, but for his baby girl Everly. She was born about a month ago and she’s got her dad gushing.
Tatum’s friend told him to use the word “no” as much as possible no, because when she starts talking he is done for. Michael Strahan said it’s true, because he lets his daughters have what they ask for any time.
“I’ve never been so excited for something to poop,” Channing said the biggest surprise about parenting is how much guys are helpless with babies. Channing’s wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, is the one feeding and by her side most of the day. He jumps at any chance to care for Everly, even if it’s just changing a diaper.
“And if I can do it without her crying, I’m just like ‘Nailed it!'” he said. “And drop the mic and walk out.”
Michael Strahan Joining Magic Mike 2 Cast?
It’s impossible for Tatum to go anywhere without someone asking about Magic Mike and the rumored sequel. He deflected any questions because he had one of his own. Would Michael Strahan be in Magic Mike 2?
This prompted the most gif-worthy dance break between Michael Strahan and Channing Tatum. The guys bust out some smooth dance moves and Carrie Ann Inaba thanked God that she was there to witness it.
Strahan said he would definitely do Magic Mike 2 for Channing Tatum.
Channing Tatum Could Live on $5.67 a Day
Being a successful movie star, Channing Tatum makes millions, but he said he could live on $5.67 a day. That gets him a number one at Checkers, a fast food restaurant in the South were her grew up. What if he had $8?
“Oh, that gets you a milk shake,” he said with a longing look in his eye.
White House Down: Channing Tatum Saves the President
In his new film White House Down, Channing Tatum saves the President from bad guys that try to invade the White House. While on a tour with his daughter, played by Joey King, Tatum springs into action alongside Jamie Foxx. Channing said he had a blast filming the movie with Foxx and there were a lot of outtakes on the film. The tension in the scenes would make them crack up.
Channing Tatum said that this was his Die Hard. He got to do a lot of his stunts but, “they don’t let actors operate heavy machinery, it’s just not smart,” Channing chuckled. He did a nine foot fall, but was not allowed to drive the cars.
Live!: Rebuilding the White House & Destroying It
Channing Tatum had to film his scenes for White House Down in about two months. He said the had long hours so that he could get to shooting another movie. The crew built a perfect replica of the White House for the film and then they got to destroy it. Channing said that Obama probably wouldn’t have liked seeing his home trashed, so they had to film elsewhere. He said the sets were incredibly detailed.
