Kelly & Michael: Tom Cavanagh Kelly Ripa Reunion
Tom Cavanagh came by to talk to Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan about his new show The Flash, which I’ve been hearing great things about. It’s a spinoff from the show Arrow, and everyone says it’s really good, so I think I’ll check it out. I was excited to hear more about it though. Cavanagh has been in Ed too. He seemed really excited to be there. He and Michael had some mutual friends. They might rename a town after Michael.

Kelly and Cavanagh were actually having a reunion becasue Kelly was in Ed. She stole every scene she was in, despite doing so much. She never missed a line. Plus she was pregnant the whole time. Cavanagh called her superwoman. They even had a clip of them on Ed. She was talking about their trip to Africa. She should be on The Flash.

Kelly & Michael: Tim Cavanagh Comic-Con
Cavanagh just went to Comic-Con and he started challenging strangers to race 100 meters. He thought it was a good idea to challenge strangers behind a hotel with no security. That’s what he does. He’s not the best runner, but he can take people at Comic-Con on. They’re in costume, can’t see well, and trip over capes. It’s perfect for him. Those are his people.
Kelly & Michael: The Flash Review
The Flash is based on the comic book. Kelly’s sons love comic books. Cavanagh thought he knew everything, but he realized he knew nothing when he was cast in The Flash. He felt like the dumbest guy in the room at Comic-Con. And people who work on the show know everything about the Flash universe.
Cavanagh plays a new character named Harrison Wells, who acts as a mentor for Barry Allen, who’s also The Flash. He tries to figure out what happened to him, how he got his powers, and if he can achieve his potential. He’s “a handsome mentor.” He wouldn’t answer if he was good or bad though. The Flash is the most easily definable character, despite being an alter ego. Everyone else has a lot of different layers.
Cavanagh has a party style when he directs, but he wouldn’t say if he was going to be directing at all.
In the clip of The Flash, Cavanagh was studying The Flash, but something was going wrong. He had poison in him. He heals quickly though. The Flash airs on Tuesdays on The CW.
