Kelly & Michael: Shaun T

Shaun T, who is known for creating INSANITY, stopped by Live! With Kelly & Michael to share some workout tips with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan as a part of the show’s “Kick Start the New Year: Fitness Edition.” He was the latest trainer to come on, following Dolvett Quince and Chris Powell. I really enjoyed the first two segments of “Kick Start the New Year: Fitness Edition.” I found them to be really easy to follow and really helpful and I liked seeing the different workouts you can try, so I was excited to see what Shaun T came up with.
Kelly & Michael were decked out in fitness gear again. Shaun T has helped rebuild the minds and bodies of many people. He had the best entrance ever. They even started dancing, but then he realized they were supposed to be working out. Kelly walked in on him stretching backstage. It’s so important to start out the workout.
Kelly & Michael: Why People Don’t Work Out
Why don’t people work out? According to Shaun T, people are scared they don’t have time and that they’re going to get tired. But he said that you should get tired as fast as possible.
Kelly & Michael: Shaun T Workout
The first thing they did was shuffle back in forth and clap under their knee to engage your core. You get fit it six months. Then they did an X jump while running in place. Michael needed to jump more. You have to go as fast as possible.
Then they did a combo workout movement where you go down to the ground. There’s a simpler one where you step out and back.
Then, they got in a pushup and went side to side. Then they held it and then did some toe taps. When you work out, don’t be afraid to get tired. After that, they did squats and then brought their knee up. They really had to push. It was pretty intense.
Next, they were jumping and clapping under their knees. It was really intense. Then they went down and were doing spider lunges. It was crazy. It was a really intense workout. Kelly & Michael seemed like they were actually struggling with this one. Then, they ended by running in place and squatting, but Michael gave up. Then they stretched.
