Kelly & Michael: Robert Downey Jr. New Baby
Robert Downey Jr. came by to talk to Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan about his new movie The Judge, which is about a guy who has to help his estranged father in his murder case. It looks really interesting and Downey Jr. is an amazing actor, so this should be a good movie. Plus it has a really great cast. Downey Jr. is a really versatile actor, and a great guest. He had a great entrance today.
He’s the biggest superhero ever, but he just purchased a minivan. They got a Honda Odyssey. Maybe he’ll get an endorsement. He’s actually expecting a baby in November. She’s fine, but he’s a wreck. He has two sons, but this is his first daughter. He’s not prepared. His son’s turning three in February. Sometimes the toddler gets what’s happening, but then he said that he also has a baby in his tummy, which is adorable.

Michael and Downey Jr. have a lot in common. They both love cars. Downey Jr. loves the 1970 Mustang the best. Kelly had no idea what they were talking about. It’s a quarter mile car and has a hood tack. It makes him feel manly. “Sometimes it even starts,” he said. You have to be your own mechanic though. Kelly also has a car.

Kelly & Michael: Robert Downey Jr. Mom Tribute
Downey Jr. posted a beautiful tribute to his mom who passed away. His character in The Judge’s mom also passed away. She was sick when he was filming and he didn’t want her to be upstaged by the promotion, so he did this tribute. She was on Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman and they had a lot in common. She looked like a pinup girl and somebody started posting his face on pinup girls. She was who got him interested in acting.
Kelly & Michael: Robert Downey Jr. Alpacas
Kelly called him the premiere actor of their generation. He’s never made a bad choice and is always believable. He also has a pen where he keeps animals at his house. He has four lady alpacas: Ms. Brain, Madre, Fuzzy, and Dandy. They’re practical and you have to share them. They’re really sweet, but they don’t trust humans, probably because they shave them. Fuzzy’s nice. If you turn around she’ll come and sniff you. They also make weird noises.
Kelly & Michael: The Judge Review
The promotional tour for The Judge has taken him everywhere. They went to Indianapolis, Chicago, and a surprise visit to an Air Force base. They gave him a Challenge Coin, which he keeps for good luck. It’s a huge honor. It’s not a legitimate coin unless it’s handed to you.
In The Judge, Downey Jr. plays a big city defense attorney, but he comes back home where he doesn’t want to be and his estranged father, played by Robert Duvall, is facing a murder charge. It’s really entertaining, but also starts a dialogue. It’s amazing how people don’t want to go back to where they’re from. You mark your progress and your journey by leaving the place you’re from. Downey Jr. is from New York and has decided to make peace with it now.
The clip of The Judge showed Downey Jr.’s character talking about a case in the bathroom. He’s a real cutthroat lawyer and he doesn’t care that his clients are always guilty. Innocent people can’t afford him. The Judge will be in theaters on October 10 2014.
