Neil Patrick Harris: Dinner With Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos
Neil Patrick Harris is the multi-talented actor, singer, dancer and magician who stars in the hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Neil is also good friends with Kelly Ripa, and the pair recently enjoyed a night out together. Kelly & Mark joined Neil and his partner, David Burtka, for a “baby free” dinner. It was so much fun that Neil was happy to report he was “still drunk.”
Neil Patrick Harris: Twins Harper and Gideon at Disney World
Neil and David have adorable two-year-old twins, Harper and Gideon. The family recently took their very first trip to Disney World, which the kids loved. Neil said it was amazing to see them experience rides, fireworks and parades for the very first time.
Harper’s favorite ride was Peter Pan’s Flight, which Neil said was “emotional” the first time they rode it together, however, by the seventeenth time, “not so much.” Kelly admitted that It’s a Small World is still her favorite ride at Disney World and she forces her kids to ride it with her.
Michael, who has eight-year-old twin daughters, warned Neil about the perils of raising twins. “You have a lot to look forward to my friend!” he said.
Neil Patrick Harris: Steven Sondheim “Assassins”
Neil is a talented stage actor and he will be starring in Steven Sondheim’s play Assassins for one night only in New York. He originally starred in the 2003 production, which is a musical about famous assassins throughout history. Neil will be reprising his role as Lee Harvey Oswald.
Neil Patrick Harris: How I Met Your Mother Season Eight
Eight seasons in, Neil’s CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother is still one of the most popular shows on TV. Neil called the show “the best job I’ve ever had.” He loves the cast and getting to play notorious womanizer Barney Stinson. Barney is a hilarious character who “cares about his suits more than his friends.” Neil admitted that he’s nothing like Barney, but also a lot like him at the same time.
Neil, Kelly and Michael got to preview a very funny clip from an upcoming episode: Neil’s co-star, Jason Segel, had a hard time keeping a straight face while Neil said goodbye to one of his beloved ties. You can catch How I Met Your Mother Mondays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
