Kelly and Michael: Max Greenfield’s Daughter is a Musical Prodigy
Greenfield thinks his daughter is a musical prodigy. They were going for chess, he said, but they ended up with music. She listens to the songs radio, but they don’t know if she’s really listening. Kelly & Michael: Max Greenfield Knows Princess Ana
Kelly & Michael asked if Greenfield’s daughter is obsessed with Frozen. “She has not let it go and she refuses to let it go,” Greenfield said. They watched it Christmas Eve. He’s wanted her to get into movies like he is. He wanted her to engage with the film without leaving when she sees the bad guy.
He suddenly realized he knew Princess Ana. He knows Kristen Bell from their Veronica Mars days. So he tried to name drop but he did’t want to ruin the movie by saying he knows the cartoon character. He did it anyway. He texted Kristen Bell and asked her to call his daughter and leave a message as Princess Ana. He said he told her “I wouldn’t be mad” if she called. Bell said she’d call in two minutes even though it was Christmas Eve.
She’s “the best human being on the planet,” he said. So he played the message. She left an amazing message. So they filmed the reaction to send to Kristen. And he was more excited than his daughter was because he was thinking he’s such a cool dad, but she didn’t really get it. Greenfield talkdd about how Josh Gad did their show too. He wondered what his kid thought hearing his voice in Frozen.
Kelly and Michael: Max Greenfield About Alex Review
Greenfield talked about his film About Alex. About Alex opens April 17. They filmed it in summer 2013. It had a great cast. He said it’s not a comedy like New Girl.
He plays a snobby grad student. “Grad student, that’s as far away as we can get. Let’s show some range,” he said. He’s excited about the Tribeca Film Festival. He’s not sure he’ll be there, but he wants to see Robert De Niro.
In the clip, Greenfield’s character Josh is “very upset about social media.” He said it’s ruining things in the present. He and Aubrey Plaza’s character bickered. She likes to see what her friends are up to. He doesn’t think that makes people know each other. “That’s what people do now. People who care,” she said.
