The stars of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire are visiting Kelly and Michael all week long. Josh Hutcherson kicked things off, and next it was Liam Hemsworth’s turn to make an appearance.

Hemsworth grew up in Australia, where his mother was a teacher. He was sometimes in her class, which was awkward because she taught reproductive education. “It’s not a class I’d like to be in,” he said. One day, the class had to talk about different diseases, which made for an embarrassing moment.
Kelly & Michael: Liam Hemsworth Brothers
Liam is the youngest of three brothers. Older brothers Luke and Chris are also actors; Chris Hemsworth just starred in Thor. Liam said that Chris bulked up for the role, but for his latest role in a Ron Howard movie, he has lost a lot of weight, so Liam now thinks he could take his brother in a fight.
Growing up, Liam said that his brothers thought he got away with everything, but his family considered him a devil child! His nickname was Triple, referring to Triple 6s, and his uncles joked that they attempted a failed exorcism.
Kelly and Michael: Gale Vs Peeta Hunger Games
Liam is reprising his role as Gale in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. What’s new for his character in this second film? It picks up where the first movie left off. The movie starts with Katniss and Peeta back in District 12, with post-traumatic stress.
Meanwhile, Liam’s Gale character is unsure how Katniss feels about their relationship. Who would Liam choose for Katniss? Liam politely said that he would choose his co-star, Josh.
Kelly & Michael: Liam Hemsworth on Jennifer Lawrence
Though Jennifer Lawrence did not give him a sloppy kiss, she knew how to keep Liam on his toes.
“She’s the most honest person to be around, and I think that’s what people love about her,” Liam Hemsworth said of Lawrence. “She just has no filter and she says what she believes. But she’s an extremely caring person and loves the people around her.”
In a clip from the film, Gale attempts to convince Katniss that they cannot run away. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will open in theaters on November 22 2013, and Strahan said it’s even better than the first movie.
