Kelly & Michael Welcomed Brooklyn Nets Kids
Kelly & Michael’s Let’s Get Physical Week has seen the hosts participate in many different types of fitness fun; they’ve learned how to do a belly roll from the Bellydance Superstars, danced with the talented Alvin Ailey Company, and even hit the gym with Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas. Finally, at the conclusion of Let’s Get Physical Week, the hosts learned some moves from the adorable and talented Brooklyn Nets Kids.
Brooklyn Nets Kids Performed On Live! With Kelly & Michael

The adorable and talented Brooklyn Nets Kids performed for the Live! audience and taught Kelly & Michael some of their moves.
The Brooklyn Nets Kids are a dance troupe that perform at the Barclays Center for Brooklyn Nets weekend home games. The pint sized hip-hop dancers may be small, but their talent is gigantic! Their high-energy, perfectly coordinated performance on the Live! stage would put many adult dance groups to shame. They were so great and had so much attitude– and I’d be shocked if any of them were over the age of ten!
Kelly & Michael Dance With Brooklyn Nets Kids
When they finished performing, all of the boys and girls took a break for a chat with Kelly & Michael. Their spokespeople were Serena and Tymell, ages eight and nine. Michael pointed out that Serena and Tymell looked just like mini versions of himself and Kelly– the kids could totally play the hosts on the next Halloween special!
Serena and Tymell said that all of the kids have been dancing hip-hop all their lives. They were all very excited to have met Taylor Lautner backstage– especially the little girls!
Brooklyn Nets Kids: Hot Cheetos & Snack Groove
Then, the kids showed the hosts how to get down, Brooklyn Nets Kids style. Kelly and Michael learned two moves called “Hot Cheetos” and “The Snack Groove.” Then, they put all the moves together with the music, and showed off their skills. It was so cute, and Serena was a great instructor– is she eight, or twenty-eight?
If you’d love to see the Brooklyn Nets Kids perform in person, you can catch them at the Brooklyn Nets home games at the Barclays Center.
