Katie Holmes: Holmes & Yang Fashion Label
Actress Katie Holmes sat down with Kelly and Michael, and Kelly noticed that Katie was sporting a piece from her new fashion label, Holmes & Yang. Katie said that she’s always loved fashion and design. Her mom used to own a drapery business, so there was a lot of fabric always lying around. Her mom also taught her how to sew. Not to mention the fact that Katie has three older sisters, so clothes have always been an important part of her life.
Everything for Holmes & Yang is made right in New York. The label recently had its first presentation at Lincoln Center for Fashion Week.

Katie isn’t much of a cook, but she will be going home on Thursday to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with her family. Her sister makes a delicious sausage stuffing, and her mom’s turkey is always delicious. Katie admitted that she already “warmed up” by having a meal of turkey and stuffing over the weekend. Now she’s ready for more!
Katie Holmes: Holmes in the Hot Seat
Kelly and Michael asked Katie a series of rapid-fire questions in a game called “Holmes in the Hot Seat.” Katie was a good sport and answered as many questions about herself as she could. We learned that her favorite all-time movie is Annie Hall, she prefers stilettos over sneakers, and she’s never owned a pet. However, one question that she couldn’t answer was the classic “Dawson vs. Pacey” debate. She let the audience answer that one.
Katie Holmes: “Dead Accounts” on Broadway
Katie is returning to Broadway with a new play called Dead Accounts, a show all about corporate greed. She said it feels good to be back with such a great show. She loves the cast and also the challenge of performing live every night. Each time she takes the stage, it’s a blank slate.
Katie revealed that her pre-show tradition is to eat a “cheese-coney” with her cast. She explained that it’s an Ohio specialty hot dog topped with chili and cheese. However, they use turkey dogs and gluten-free buns.
Katie’s play, Dead Accounts, is running at the Music Box Theater on Broadway.
I wasn’t a big fan of Katie but seeing her on k&m I have to say wow. She not only was dressed to the nines but was so adorable I couldn’t stop looking at her.She is gorgeous,a respectable mother, and smarter than people give her credit for. I think she is phenomenal.(I probably spelled that wrong.)My only wish is that everyone was at least 70% as sharp as she is. Again WOW is all I can say. What a beautiful woman and beautiful mama bear. All I can say is you are lucky I don’t have a shot with you.lol I think you’re wonderful, love ya!!!!
