Still Alice is beautiful and moving. Kelly said she had anxiety watching it because it could happen to anyone. She’s in the prime of her life and suddenly she gets Early Onset Alzheimer’s. So often, it’s misdiagnosed as a condition of aging, but it’s a disease.
It has an amazing cast. Moore’s known Kristin Stewart since she was 12. Alec Baldin was also a soap star.
Someone forwarded an email from a client of the Alzheimer’s Association and it said it was the first time that they felt represented. She talked to people for research and they were all really kind. In the clip, Moore’s daughter, played by Stewart , asked her what it feels like for her. It’s not always the same. She has good days and bad days. Sometimes she feels like she can’t find herself. She was always defined by her intellect. Still Alice will be in theaters in select cities on January 16 2015.
