Kelly and Michael: Jonah Hill 30th Birthday
Kelly & Michael spoke with Jonah Hill, star of the new film The Wolf of Wall Street. Jonah was looking snappy in a three-piece suit and, according to Kelly, smelled great. Jonah joked that the cologne is “my own fragrance that I make in my bathtub every morning.”

Jonah will turn 30 next week (on December 20), and he’s very much looking forward to it. He feels that turning 29 was “crazier,” because he knew there was just “one year left to be an insane person.” His plans include going to dinner with some friends and then having a bigger celebration on New Year’s Eve.
Kelly and Michael offered themselves up as party guests (Kelly can make balloon animals).
Kelly & Michael: Jonah Hill “Daughter” Carmela
Jonah has a brand new “daughter,” but she’s not a human baby: she’s a little puppy named Carmela. Jonah shared the picture of the five-month-old bulldog, and she’s definitely just as cute as a real baby.
Kelly and Michael: Jonah Hill Filming “22 Jump Street”
Jonah is currently filming the sequel to the hilarious 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street. He’s reunited with co-star Channing Tatum, who is one of his favorite people to work with. “It’s great to have the gang back together,” he said.
The film is shooting in New Orleans, where Channing owns a bar called Saints & Sinners. It sounds like fun, but Jonah said it’s “unfortunate” for their livers.
Jonah Hill: “The Wolf of Wall Street”
Jonah has teamed up with Leonardo Di Caprio and Martin Scorsese for the new film The Wolf of Wall Street. Leo plays Jordan Belfort, a real person whom the story is based on. Jonah plays his partner in a company that “swindles good people out of money.”
Kelly asked Jonah if he felt like “the other woman,” because Leonardo Di Caprio and Martin Scorsese have worked together so many times. He did admit that in the beginning, things were a little awkward, because he didn’t want to look dumb in front of them. On the first day, lunch was “intimidating.” Jonah also added, “I’ve never seen an actor and director have that kind of connection.”
Kelly & Michael: Jonah Hill Revenge On Leonardo Di Caprio
Jonah called Leo “the best actor I’ve ever worked with,” but there was definitely a little on-set rivalry. The film contains many scenes of Leo essentially beating Jonah up, so eventually, Jonah formed a plan for revenge.
Jonah changed a line in the script, where he was supposed to take a bite of sushi, but instead makes Leo eat it. After dozens of takes, Leo was forced to eat 100 pieces of yellow tail sushi, and started throwing up. Jonah said that the only people laughing were himself and Martin Scorsese.
