Kelly & Michael: Independence Day Game Wet and Wild Challenge
Live! With Kelly & Michael’s next Independence Day Game was a “Wet and Wild Challenge.” It was outside. The first team was a husband and wife team. They were Todd and Anne from Brookfield, Wisconsin. Team two was a sister team. They were Jan and Mandy from Pennsylvania. Team three was a stepfather and stepson team. They were David and Brandon from Atlanta, Georgia. The goal was to get as much water into the partner’s container through the funnel on their heads in 30 seconds. Michael said one was just squirting the partner because he was just mad at him. Kelly wanted someone to spray Gelman while he was measuring the buckets. Team one won.

Kelly & Michael: Caroline Rhea
Stand up comedian Caroline Rhea came by to talk to Kelly & Michael. Kelly told her she was supposed to be in the onesie too. Rhea said that Michael had an unfair advantage on the tricycle because it only took him one leg stride.
Kelly & Michael: Caroline Rhea Daughter

Rhea has a daughter named Ava who just graduated from Kindergarten. She had a cap and gown and everything. Rhea said she can read and write and that it’s much harder than when she went. She had the best teacher named Ms. Stephanie. Rhea said she clearly grew up in the ’70s because her daughter would come home and say, “Mommy, I’m gonna drop some knowledge on you.” She asked if all ladybugs are ladies.
Rhea said yes, except for the ones that swear. Rhea had her daughter when she was 44, and she’s five, so Rhea said she’s 38 now. She loves when people ask if she’s going to have another child. She said she’s a Biblical character. Kelly said she looks good, but Rhea said she wants to do a handstand and get a staple gun. All of her friends are “so middle aged.” They talk about all of their problems, but Rhea says she has to call them back because she’s coloring and watching Dora. All her friends are also getting their dream cars now, and she’s getting a minivan. Kelly’s friend got spinners on her minivan.
Kelly & Michael: Sabrina Fandom
Rhea loves New York in the summer because it’s full of tourists that grew up watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch. A kid came up to her and said that he grew up watching her. She said it was sweet, but made her feel old because he was bald. She said that Sabrina was on everywhere, which is good because she gets big checks. Some Irish girls came up to her and she couldn’t spell their names.
Kelly & Michael: Lipshtick Comedy Series
Rhea is in the Lipshtick comedy series. Michael said it wrong, and they talked about his lisp. Rhea had a lisp too. The series is at the Venetian Hotel and has great female comedians. Rhea’s there with Wendy Liebman on August 1 and 2. Rhea said that Las Vegas is “slightly hotter than the core of the Earth, but if you come from Chicago, it’ll be cool.”

Kelly & Michael: Caroline Rhea Water Balloon Toss
Kelly talked about doing SoulCycle with Rhea. Rhea is so competitive, she can move the bike forward. She raced Kelly once and hit her in the back of the head.
They played a water balloon toss competition. Rhea actually wore the onesie. Kelly was partnered with Willie from Charlotte, North Carolina. Michael was partnered with Denise from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Rhea’s partner was Lindsay from Boston, Massachusetts. They had to throw water balloons into bowls. Whoever had the most unpopped balloons in the bowl in 30 seconds won the $500 Ikea gift certificate. Kelly said she broke one with her bare hand. Michael’s team won. Kelly and Rhea started throwing balloons at him and a fight broke out.
