Kelly & Michael: Beth Behrs Attending Tony Awards

Beth Behrs was in New York City this weekend to attend to the Tony Awards so she stopped by Live! to chat with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan.

Behrs, who is a self-proclaimed musical theater nerd, said she is going to the awards with her friend Matt Doyle who stars in the musical The Book of Mormon. She is going with Doyle for the second year in row, saying they went together last year and they even went to prom together when they were in high school.

When Kelly and Michael pulled up her prom picture, Behrs was a bit embarrassed by her pink dress.

“I wanted to wear a pink dress like Glinda wore in Wicked,” said Behrs.

Beth Behrs Becomes Friends with Josh Groban on Live!

The last time Beth Behrs was on Live! she did a duet with Josh Groban that Kelly Ripa loved. Little did Kelly know, the performance sparked a friendship between the two. Behrs said they became friends after the show and have been ever since. They are both foodies so they love going to new restaurants together.

Michael Strahan seemed a bit jealous. He really wants to do a duet with Josh Groban.

Beth Behrs Skypes with Director for Monsters University

Beth Behrs is starring in the new Pixar film Monsters University and she is super excited. She said she is really excited to work on a Pixar film. But filming for the movie was a bit strange for Behrs. She never met any of the other actors because she was filming in New York City while the director and many of the other actors were filming in Los Angeles.

While she did meet everyone eventually, she had to Skype with the director most of the time.

As for her monster, Behrs said her character looks like her but with more eyeballs and the monster is a bit more pruple.

In the last episode of Two Broke Girls, both the girls find a secret room in the back of the coffee shop they work at, which they are planning to turn into a cupcake shop.
