Alec Baldwin: Wedding to Hilaria Thomas

Kelly and Michael were joined by award-winning actor Alec Baldwin. Since Alec last appeared on the show, he’s gotten married to Hilaria Thomas. The couple were wed in the summer of 2012 at Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Soho, which is also Kelly’s church. It was a beautiful wedding, however, a church wasn’t Alec’s first idea. At first he was thinking outrageous locations such as a cliff in the Caribbean, or on a space shuttle. Eventually, he and his fiance`decided on the traditional route.

Alec Baldwin: Thanksgiving

Alec said that it’s hard for his very large family to get together for Thanksgiving. However, he will be spending the holiday this year with his niece Jessica in Chicago. She has three children, the youngest of which “completely took over” Alec’s wedding. He is like “a cartoon character,” who shoved everyone else off the dance floor so that he could show off his moves. Thanksgiving should definitely be fun with him!

Alec Baldwin: Turkey Bowl with Mariska Hargitay

Alec also has a holiday tradition that takes place every Saturday after Thanksgiving. He attends a “Turkey Bowl” party at actress Mariska Hargitay‘s house on Long Island. They have a delicious catered meal, and then everyone plays a big game of football. Alec invited both Kelly and Michael to the annual event, and Kelly said she’ll be there, since she’ll already be out on Long Island.

Alec Baldwin: “Ask Alec” Game

Kelly and Michael got to know more about Alec Baldwin with a game of “Ask Alec.” He admitted that he prefers iPhones over Blackberries, yoga class over spin class, and that a perfect date for him would be a romantic dinner with his wife, followed by a lot of “bleeps” from Alec’s own censor!

“Ask Alec” took an unexpected twist when Alec turned the tables on the hosts. He had some questions of his own prepared, and they all featured a similar theme: “Who’s your favorite Baldwin?” and “What’s the sexiest thing about Alec Baldwin?” were among the questions.

Alec Baldwin: 30 Rock Final Season

Alec’s hit show 30 Rock is currently in its seventh and final season. Alec has won two Emmy Awards for his role as the bossy network executive Jack Donaghy. He admitted that he feels “mixed” about the show’s end. It’s very sad, because he’s been on the show for seven years. However, at the same time, he’s excited to see what projects he’ll choose next.

Alec Baldwin: North in “Rise of the Guardians”

Alec has lent his voice to the holiday-themed animated film Rise of the Guardians. The story centers around the icons of childhood–such as the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, and Jack Frost–who are now all in jeopardy. They decide to team up and protect children all around the world from an evil menace named Pitch Black. The film’s stars also include Isla Fisher, Chris Pine, and Jude Law.

Alec’s character is called North, and he is a version of Santa Claus. Alec puts on a deep Russian accent for his role as North, and it sounds very authentic. See Alec in Rise of the Guardians, in theaters now– just in time for the holiday season!
