Kelly & Michael: Jenny McCarthy Donnie Wahlberg Engagement
Jenny McCarthy came in to talk to Kelly & Michael. She’s a comedian, actress, talk show host, and best selling author. Kelly said, “Welcome home” to her. She got engaged to Donnie Wahlberg and hasn’t been in to talk to Kelly & Michael since getting engaged. She’s so happy. She’s in love. She’s been talking about it like crazy. She said that he’s a wonderful man. She talked about the proposal. She was doing the girl thing and was asking him how much he loved her.

He said he’d be right back. Her son Evan kept leaving and coming back with pieces of paper asking, “will you marry me?” with each word on a piece of paper. Marry was spelled wrong, which is adorable. She’s so happy that he included Evan. Evan loves Donnie Wahlberg. He’s even been asking him to propose to her. He said, “I have another dad!” when it happened. Wahlberg has two kids. McCarthy’s happy this happened before menopause, so he has a few good years.
Kelly & Michael: Jenny McCarthy First Role
McCarthy first wanted to act when her mom took her to see Grease. She said she wanted to act and be a teacher. Her first film role was Things To Do in Denver When You’re Dead. Her one line was “Hello.” She played a nurse. Kelly & Michael had a clip. She “co-starred” with Christopher Walken. She had to face away because she was staring and him for the rest of the scene.
Kelly & Michael: Stirring The Pot Review
Jenny McCarthy talked about her book Stirring the Pot my Recipe for Getting What you Want in Life. Kelly said she’s the best storyteller and gives the best advice. Kelly loved Belly Laughs. She read it after having her kids and wished it had been around for her.
This is Jenny’s 10th book. She’s had a crazy career and crazy life and she likes to share her stories. She also likes to go to her spiritual gurus. This book combined the two. In this book she used her spiritual gurus and her own stories. Her favorite is “Know When to Fold ‘em,” which is knowing when to let go. Don’t make excuses for the people in your life. She also deals with facing your fears. She used to have stage fright. Stirring the Pot is in stores May 7, 2014.
