Kelly & Michael 50 Cent in Da Club
The Grammy winner, actor, and producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson came by to talk to Kelly & Michael. Kelly called him lovely. The crowd was losing it. He walked out to “In Da Club,” and Kelly & Michael said that it gets you going no matter where you are. It’s a party anthem. 50 Cent said that it won’t go away.

50 Cent is a native New Yorker. He grew up in Queens. He performed at the MetLife Stadium for Summer Jam and reunited G-Unit! He got everybody back. It’s been seven years since he and Buck have been on the stage together.
Kelly & Michael: 50 Cent’s Terrible Pitch
Kelly brought up 50 Cent’s terrible pitch at the Mets game. He didn’t know how it went so wrong. It all started so perfectly. Michael said that he’s done it too. He said it was one of the scariest things he’s ever done because all the other players wanted to see what he’s got. 50 Cent said they put pressure on him. He got nervous.
50 Cent woke up the next morning and asked, “What happened?” The police pulled him over the next day. The police officer didn’t want to give him a ticket, he just wanted to say it was a terrible pitch. He said, “You made me laugh so hard, I’m not going to ruin your day.”

50 Cent has a new album coming out called Animal Ambition. The cover is a fierce lion. This is his first album in five years. 50 Cent was going through a transitional period with his record label. He had help getting this out.
Kelly & Michael: Starz Power Review
Kelly & Michael played a clip from the new show Power on Starz. 50 Cent is talking to someone who can’t play ball anymore. He got hurt, but 50 Cent wants him to keep trying. 50 Cent loves acting.
Power is actually inspired by 50 Cent’s real life. They used a lot of what 50 Cent would just naturally say, but he was definitely playing a character. Kelly said it’s hard to play yourself. The other character is loosely based on him. He has a recurring role and is executive producer. The protagonist is a nightclub owner, but is also one of the biggest drug distributors in New York City. 50 Cent said that the protagonist struggles with doing the right thing. There’s also a woman involved.
He shot the whole thing in New York City. 50 Cent said that it’s a character of the show. Kelly wondered how he could even walk down the street. He was in jail in the scene on the show, so he didn’t have to worry about shooting on the street. Power premieres on June 7 2014 on Starz.
