Kelly and Michael: Amy Adams Daughter Aviana

Four time Academy Award nominee Amy Adams discussed her new film American Hustle with Kelly and Michael. Amy came out wearing a very chic pant suit, and said that she wore it especially for Kelly.

Amy’s daughter, Aviana, was backstage while her mom gave the interview. Amy said that Aviana loves to sing, and also has a great memory for lyrics. She’s good at copying whatever her mom does.  But does Amy think Aviana will enter show business? She’s not sure. Her daughter is also very shy, so we’ll just have to see!

Since Amy is a great singer, Kelly and Michael wondered if she enjoys karaoke, which they love to perform on the show. Amy called herself a total “karaoke nerd,” although she’ll only sing in private rooms with friends. Next time she’s on the show, she promised to participate in Kelly and Michael’s karaoke sing-off.

Kelly has seen Amy’s new film American Hustle and absolutely loved it. She complimented Amy on her ability to capture the very specific look and personality of people from the 1970s. Amy attributed the film’s great style to director David O. Russell.

In the film, Amy plays one half of a con artist duo with Christian Bale. After being caught, they start working for the FBI, but it’s unclear who’s manipulating who. Amy wears a lot of low cut dresses in the film, and also has kissing scenes with all her co-stars, including Jennifer Lawrence!

Kelly asked Amy, between Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, and Jennifer Lawrence, who is the better kisser? Amy had the perfect response: “I’m gonna say me, because they all kiss me!”

Kelly and Michael shared a clip of Amy with Bradley Cooper from American Hustle, which is in theaters December 20. You can also see Amy Adams alongside Joaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson in the new film Her, out December 18.
