Kelly & Michael: Sunscreen Reminder Bracelet
Guest host Anderson Cooper talked about the athletic bracelets that tell you things. Gelman wears one that tells him how many steps he’s taken. Cooper does not get it. Who cares? Kelly said she sits in a chair for a living. Hers would flat line. Now there’s one that tells you to wear sunscreen at the beach. “That’s what a parent is for,” Cooper said.
Kelly said her generation could have used that. Her mom never told her that, but Copper’s mom was really cautious. Kelly’s mom thought sunblock caused cancer. Cooper compared him to a newt that’s never seen the sun before. Kelly loves photographing him on the beach. He’s sand colored and you can only see his eyes. Cooper’s mom didn’t want them to go outdoors and wanted them to just watch TV instead. He had to be on TV. He has no other skill.

Cooper’s been following the World Cup a little, but he doesn’t know much about soccer. They both want to go to Brazil. Cooper tried to do a Brazilian accent, and it didn’t work out. Kelly said Michael can’t either. Russell Brand once told Kelly that her British accent was a hate crime. The World Cup’s coming up, and the Olympics are coming up, and there’s been a lot of infrastructure problems. They’re still building the stadiums for the World Cup. They always pull things together though.
Kelly & Michael: Turf Toe Surgeries
They talked about soccer. Kids are playing soccer more lately. Mark had a soccer scholarship in college. Now he wears the boot because he has “Turf Toe,” which might not exist. He started telling the nurses that Kelly was abusive after his surgery and that she didn’t understand because she’s never had surgery. She’s had three C-Sections. He’s been in the cast for two years, but all he had was seven stitches. Cooper had shoulder surgery. He doesn’t talk about his emotions. Kelly knows he’s in agony when he touches his shoulder, but Mark’s so dramatic. He even has a knee scooter. Kelly has a video.
Spin into Summer Travel Trivia: Kit Harington
The Spin into Summer Travel Trivia dancer was Kelvin McNair from Brooklyn New York. Gelman gave him the swim trunks. Patricia Marabate from Chesterfield, Michigan was the contestant. She’s a corporate office manager for a collision shop. She’s going to Germany. She’s never been to that part of Germany and doesn’t know any German. Cooper took eight years of German, but can’t say much. She played for the Turtle Bay Resort in Hawaii. It’s valued at $6,900. The question was:

She got it right! It was his hair. Kelly was wearing glasses and was shocked she could finally see the cue card. She picked number 29 to get a $500 gift certificate for Fandango.
