Kelly & Michael: Thursday’s The New Friday
It’s the day before Friday, which is basically Friday, Kelly said. The weekend has started, Michael said.
Kelly & Michael: Someone Stole Louise Strahan’s Banana Pudding
Kelly & Michael talked about how the cake thief is back in the audience. She went everywhere with Michael yesterday, but his mom was done. She stayed at the apartment. His mom actually got mad at him backstage yesterday. Someone took her plate and she didn’t get to eat any of the banana pudding. She thought that Michael did it, but Kelly thinks it was actually her. There were two spoons on her plate and she just moved one. She thought it was weird that there were two spoons, but didn’t really think anything of it.
Kelly & Michael: Times Square Wrestling Event
Kelly took her son Joaquin to that Times Square event for the wrestling event. Kelly thought that the best matches were the women’s matches. They showed demos of different types of matches. There were a lot of people around the ring, which was good. Kelly said that they were talking about removing it from the Olympics even though that’s what the Olympics were based on. Maybe they’ll see how great it is now. The event gave Kelly hope. Michael thought Times Square was a good location because not a lot of people would have known about it otherwise.
Kelly & Michael: Michael Strahan Ebony Cover
Michael did a photo shoot for Ebony Magazine after the show yesterday. Kelly said he should have said they were a package deal. He’s on the cover. It was a lot of fun. What was he wearing? “Nothing,” he joked. He was mostly wearing suits. He said he did a great interview too.
Kelly & Michael: Three Generations of Giants Greats
Michael also went to NYU for NYU Sports and Society. He went to “The Life of the World Class Athlete: Three Generations of Giants Greats.” He was surprised he was the middle generation. He thought he’d be the youngest, but not anymore. They spoke on a panel for an hour and a half. They talked about sports culture. He said that things have changed a lot between each of their times, so it was an interesting discussion. Kelly doesn’t really like sports, but she likes sports stories. She likes sports documentaries. She said that football catapulted him into the limelight, but that’s the least of his skills. She said he was okay at football, which made him laugh. Michael said that he agrees that sports are inspiring. He used Joaquin and his wrestling as an example. He is such a quiet kid, but when he wrestles a whole new kid comes out.
