Kelly & Michael: Michael Strahan Birthday
November 21 marks Michael Strahan’s birthday (congrats on turning 42! Michael said he feels 25, and did a birthday dance to prove it), and he got to celebrate it with Kelly Ripa and the cheers of a Thursday audience. Some of them brought Giants memorabilia, and others created homemade birthday cards.
Backstage before the show, Kelly gave Michael a card that she forced him to read out loud. “You and I make such a cute couple, I bet we could be models. Or at least I could be one. You probably wouldn’t make it very far with those teeth of yours,” he read off the hilarious store-bought greeting card. Kelly said she was very excited about finding that card for him, because of his famous gap.
Kelly and Michael: Kate Upton Starbucks
Strahan had the chance to meet Kate Upton, and the two were mutual fans. She offered to pick him up something from Starbucks. He gave her his gold Starbucks card and she walked to the store in a bathroom…only then did it dawn on Michael how this might look to the paparazzi. Unfortunately, he cannot yet say what the two of them were actually up to.
Kelly & Michael: Coffee Vs Making Love
Do you think coffee is better than making love first thing in the morning? Most people would rather have their caffeine fix, according to a survey. 53% of people favored coffee as the perfect way to start the day, and I think they are right!
Former New York Jet Wayne Chrebet was in the audience with his wife, Amy. “I don’t drink coffee,” was his clever answer. But Amy sold him out: she prefers coffee.
In the survey, 78% of those surveyed said they would abstain from social media, alcohol, or making love with their partner for a whole year, rather than give up coffee for that long. This was a survey by the Le Meridian hotel group.
“I feel that to have a good time in the morning…sometimes that cup of coffee can help,” Kelly Ripa said. She also pointed out that couples may have different concepts of morning.
USA Today reported that coffee is good for your blood vessels as well. You could have a 33% increase in vascular function in your index finger.
