Kelly & Michael: Ebola in New York
Kelly Ripa’s concerned about the headlines in New York. She’s not an alarmist, but there is Ebola in New York City. They’re praying for this doctor. Medical personnel go into areas where they’re needed most without thought for themselves. They’re very courageous. The doctor returned home from Africa 10 days ago and had a fever yesterday and tested positive for Ebola.

There’s been a lot of information about what happened in Texas, so they were really ready for him in New York. The biggest part is education. You have to realize how you can get Ebola. It’s not as easy to get as it seems. Though you’re always around people in New York, you have to realize how you get it. Hopefully he makes a full recovery. These medical care workers really put their own safety aside to do what is necessary. They’re so important and selfless.
Kelly & Michael: Flu Shots
Flu season is fast approaching. Did you get a flu shot? Michael Strahan didn’t. He hasn’t had one in years. He and Kelly bickered about whether or not he got sick last year. He said there’s a difference between pain and injury. He said that after he got the shot he got the flu. Kelly had the flu for seven days once and after that decided she’d get the shot.
Michael’s had the flu shot before, but he likes living on the edge. Uber is doing a service where you can call a doctor to bring you a flu shot. There’s also a nasal mist rather than a flu shot, but they’re probably only doing the shot. That’s great. A lot of people don’t go because of convenience. Also a lot of people also won’t go because people are sick at doctors’ offices.
Kelly & Michael: The Worst Place to Go in a Zombie Apocalypse
What are the worst places to seek refuge during the zombie apocalypse? This list is so important. This is need-to-know information. Kelly thinks it’s Florida. Miami is number seven. 10 is Seattle, Washington. LA and Orange County are on the list. Washington, D.C., Boston, Newark, New York City are also on the list. The worst is Honolulu, Hawaii. They should have said why that’s the worst place though. It seems nice to me.
