Kelly & Michael: Learning to Drive
Kelly’s son is getting driving lessons. He’s doing well. Kelly said the key as parents is to not be the person giving the driving lessons. He’s a really responsible kid. You don’t have the opportunity to drive that much in New York City and it wasn’t that big of a deal to him. He just wanted a new Metrocard.
There was a teen who was having his first driving lesson with an instructor. The police had to come because he hit a tree and flipped over. The police tweeted “first driving lesson didn’t go well,” which is an understatement. Kelly’s dad was a bus driver and he taught her how to drive. She said you don’t want a bus driver to teach you how to drive. She went right on the highway and was freaking out and drove a huge car.

The first day Kelly had her license, she backed into her dad’s car with everyone watching. Michael failed his driving test twice. He said the first guy had something against him, but the second time, he never got out of the parallel parking area, which was the first thing you do, because his sister let her borrow her huge car.
He hit the flag on his way back, but now he’s a good driver. His dad always corrects him, so he said that he should drive. He shouldn’t have said that. Michael said he’d make a horrible driving instructor and keeps his mouth shut. Kelly said they do God’s work. They talked about them having their own wheels.

Kelly & Michael: Toddlers are Good at Technology
Four-year-olds and toddlers are more adept at learning new technology than their parents. Kelly said she’s constantly trying to explain technology to her parents. It’s really frustrating. Michael said it’s like being a driving instructor.
She also asks her kids for help with technology. She said she’s the sandwich generation. Michael said his dad’s one of the only people to read the whole manual. Then he said that there are things he didn’t even know his phone did. Michael’s parents know technology.

He said he’s going to LA and Michael should call him. He just started his own catering party and has a graduation party today. He does healthy foods. He played for the Buccaneer in St. Croix. It’s valued at $7,100. The question was:

He got it right! It was oysters. Kelly & Michael were still horrified. He picked number 28 because he’s 28 to get a five year subscription to Netflix and a digital streaming device valued at over $500.
