Michael Strahan: The Iceman Review
Once again, Michael Strahan caught a brand new movie before the public and reported back to us, his faithful viewers. Last night, Michael saw The Iceman, the scary new thriller based on the life of killer Richard Kuklinski. The film stars Michael Shannon, Winona Ryder and Ray Liotta.
Michael was especially impressed by Michael Shannon’s performance as Kuklinski. He said that he felt like he was watching a documentary of Kuklinski’s real life. The Iceman is worth checking out, but only if you don’t mind getting scared!
Kelly Ripa: Michael’s Advisory Dinner
Instead of previewing scary new movies, Kelly spent her evening at Michael Consuelos’ advisory dinner. The event brings all the school’s parents together to make sure the students are on one track. It seems like Kelly had a good time relating to the other parents. According to her, the event was fueled by “a box of Triscuits and four bottles of scotch.”
Kelly & Michael: NBA Star Jason Collins Comes Out
It was Michael Strahan’s lucky day because there were some seriously big sports stories to report. First was the news on Jason Collins, the NBA star who has now become the first openly gay athlete in a major team sport. Support has been overwhelming for Jason, and it didn’t stop at Kelly & Michael. “If he’s happy, I’m happy,” Michael said, emphasizing that it’s Jason’s abilities, not his personal life, that matter. Michael believes it was very courageous for Jason to step up and be the very first person to speak out. Imagine if everyone else had to come out and announce publicly that they were straight?
“It just takes one person,” Kelly pointed out regarding change. Hopefully, Jason’s story will inspire others to be true to themselves. Apparently, Jason has a twin brother who didn’t even know he was gay. Although, Kelly believes he must have had suspicions based on something she likes to call “twinstincts.”
What are your thoughts on Jason Collins’ courageous move?
