Kelly & Michael: East Coast Cold Weather
Kelly Ripa said that she was struggling to get ready in time for the show, and barely had her pants on before it was time to go onstage. She blamed the cold weather for her problems, and the low temperatures have Michael Strahan wanting to give up his East Coast gig.
“It’s so cold. I don’t know what to do,” Strahan said. He claimed that he used to be tough, but now he thinks he used to just be stupid. He explained to Kelly that you have to take yourself mentally to another place and be tough. You could also put surgical gloves under your winter gloves, he suggested.
Kelly and Michael: Four Seasons Vs Warm Weather

Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan lamented that cold weather was affecting their preparation and performance. What’s your favorite season?
Ripa said that she should have taken the opportunity to escape to California or Hawaii when she was a teenager. But instead she stayed in the Northeast, even though she hates the weather. Do you like having four seasons? Tell me which season is your favorite.
Do not try this at home: when Kelly goes skiing, she tapes boot heaters to her body, despite the warnings that you should not touch them to your skin. She puts them all over her body, and they leave red welts behind.
Michael said that NFL teams will fine their offensive linemen for wearing sleeves, because it detracts from the image of toughness.
Kelly & Michael: Men Vs Women Arguments
When you get in an argument with your significant other, can you easily get over it and move on? Just like her mother-in-law, Kelly said she is not good at letting things go. “We love to harbor an argument,” Kelly said.
According to a study, Michael said a happy marriage could require a wife to calm down after a fight. But Kelly said it’s more about the husband admitting he is wrong. Michael said that men only admit they are wrong to get it overwith, even though they know they are right.
If both spouses can settle down after a disagreement, the study found that things worked out well. But couples had the best success when wives quickly calmed down after a dustup, both in the short term and the long term. Kelly said it also depends on the significance of the argument; she and Mark quibble over trivial things.
Surprisingly, the study found that a man’s ability to calm down and get over an argument had little to no effect on the couple’s future prognosis. Strahan said that he thinks men want to move on and don’t like to be uncomfortable. What do you think?
