A big sports legend is having a big birthday today. Derek Jeter is turning 40 and is retiring after this season. There’s no game today, so he’s off on his birthday. He can’t party though; he’s resting because there’s a big game against the Red Sox coming up. He still looks great. They wanted to bring him out, but he wasn’t there.

Guest co-host Chrissy Teigen was married in Italy, which brought Michael to talk about travel destination weddings. They were going to get married at Blackberry Farms in Tennessee and had a guest list of 300, but brought the list to 120 in Italy. Some of them had to pay for themselves. Americans spent $185 billion, which is nearly $800 per person in a year through October on trips they felt obligated to take. Teigen said she was happy when she got responses that people couldn’t attend. Her bachelorette party was even in Mexico. Her mom was there. She’s actually really fun. She enjoys a morning Heineken.

Michael brought up Medieval Times. Tiegen went on her 21st birthday and again a couple of weeks ago. They showed pictures. She had a great time. Her mom was there and thought they were going to the mall. They all got costumes and it ended up being $400. You get a four-course meal. Michael said you eat around horses and animals. Teigen wanted to hook her friend up with one of the knights and he actually ended up coming to Outback Steakhouse with them after, which was strange because they just had a four-course meal.

There was a meet and greet after, which was mostly four-year-olds and them. Teigen went up to him and asked if he had a phone and if that phone had a number. They texted him and decided to go to Outback, but nothing came of it. There was a small child with them who asked him about being a knight the whole time. Teigen paid for it. They even got the winning knight to come with them.
