Kelly and Michael: Craig Ferguson Leaving The Late Late Show

Kelly & Michael talked about how Craig Ferguson is leaving The Late Late Show. His contract is up and he didn’t renew it. It’s been 10 seasons. He said he and CBS aren’t getting divorced. They’re getting a “conscious uncoupling.” All the late show hosts seem to be leaving. But Kelly & Michael said that they shouldn’t do anything to their morning show.

Kelly & Michael: Spain’s New Law to Make Kids Respectful

Kelly & Michael had more news from Spain. In Spain they’re passing a law to make children do their chores and be respectful. What happens if their kids don’t do it? Kids under 18 need to take responsibility for their house and be respectful to their parents and teachers and have a positive attitude toward learning regardless of age and gender. That should happen without a law, but how would they enforce it anyway?

Kelly said her kids are great, but it’s always a struggle to get them to do their chores automatically. She always has to remind them. And they want money for things. They run around the house and do things that don’t even have to be done when they want money. Michael said you have to keep the money small.

Kelly and Michael: How Much Should the Tooth Fairy Leave?

Kelly and Mark had issues with money and the tooth fairy. Mark was a “renegade fairy” that left $20. There was a passive aggressive conversation after that when Kelly said that the tooth fairy lost his mind, and Mark said that the tooth fairy had other things to do besides thinking about getting change after a long day of work.

Michael leaves his twins a quarter or 50 cents. They’re nine. What do they need money for? Now that Kelly’s kids are older, they want updated software for their computer. She said that they should buy that themselves.

Michael talked about getting his son’s bills at the end of the month. He buys too much fast food instead of grocery shopping. But also there was a charge at Victoria’s Secret and he has a girlfriend. Is Michael buying his son’s girlfriend some lingerie? He was too uncomfortable to approach his son about this. Hopefully someone who knows his son is watching and will talk to him about it. They said that maybe his son went for himself. Michael said it’s 2014. He loves him regardless.
