Kelly & Michael: Coffee Shortage
Michael said that the happiest countries might be changing. There’s a fungus growing on our main coffee bean. Michael said that they need to sip their coffee slowly because the price is going up and Gelman’s cheap with the budget. Kelly brought up all the shortages there were this year: velveeta and wings at the super bowl and limes and avocados at Cinco de Mayo. Kelly said they might just be using more of those products at that time. There was no shortage. They just want to create a panic. Gelman went to Chipotle and there was a bucket of limes. Kelly said coffee’s expensive anyway.
Kelly & Michael: Don’t Wash Your Jeans
Kelly asked Michael if he washes his jeans. She rarely does. People call her disgusting and vile, but she’s not. She’s right again. Jeans experts say you’re not supposed to wash them and it ruins their integrity. Michael said he gets his jeans sweaty. Kelly doesn’t wear her jeans when she goes to a club and she doesn’t sit on the subway. Nobody offers her a seat. Michael washes them occasionally. Kelly only washes them if there’s a stain.
She read that you should put them in the freezer to get the germs off. The germs come back when you put them on and warm them up though. Kelly said that you can spot treat your jeans with a toothbrush. Michael said if he were a denim company he would say to wash them so you’d have to buy new ones. Kelly said that they’re building a trust with the consumer. Styles change anyway. Kelly brought up a commercial song from the ’70s. Kelly asked Santa for the sparkly belt in the commercial but she never got it. Michael said he knows what to get the woman who has everything now.

Michael’s hosting Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Sports on July 17. There’s the don’t try this at home award, party like a rock star, and others. Plus there are normal categories. Kids can vote for their favorite athletes on Nick.com.
Spin into Summer Travel: Trivia Hugh Jackman
The Spin into Summer Travel Trivia Dancer was Christine Shay from Miltown, New Jersey. Kelly said 90% of the trivia dancers must be from New Jersey. The audience was wild with the beach balls. Carol Semon from Monroeville, Virginia was the contestant. She wasn’t very excited. She’s celebrating 50 years of marriage. Kelly asked for the secret. She said they didn’t have any options “it was for better or for worst.” Kelly’s parents said the same thing. She played for the Club Barbados. It’s valued at $7,700. The question was:
