Kelly & Michael: Hump Day
Kelly loves when Michael says, “It’s hump day!” He has the perfect voice.
Kelly & Michael: Lola Consuelos Lacrosse
Kelly went to her daughter’s lacrosse game, and it was very exciting. She and Mark did’t understand what was going on, but it was very exciting. Her daughter makes too much conversation with the opposing team, though. If she stopped, they’d do well. She might play defense, Kelly’s not entirely sure. It was at Jamie Gelman’s school and she asked everyone if they knew her.
All of their games were rained out, so they’re making them up now. Kelly said they’re 0 and 2. Michael said at least she’s learning conversational skills. Kelly said they’re great though. They have passing skills, are collaborative and feel good about themselves afterwards. Michael said at least they’re having fun. But all the parents are competitive. Lola said one of the dads on the other team said, “Hit her in the throat.”
Kelly & Michael: 11-Year-Old Golfer
There’s an 11-year-old golfer named Lucy Li who’s the youngest golfer to make it to the US Open. Michael wants to take her on. He’s not scared of an 11-year-old girl! She’s 90 pounds and 4’11”. Michael said he’s got this. Kelly said he should challenge her to a football game instead. Maybe he’ll make it to the US Open if he beats her in golf. Kelly said the deal should be whoever wins goes to the women’s US Open.
Kelly & Michael: Michael Strahan As a Woman
Michael said his friend did a movie like that called Juwana Man, where a man pretended to be a woman. Michael said it wouldn’t work for him, but Kelly said he’s very pretty. He was beautiful on their Halloween show. Not all good-looking men make attractive women. Michael didn’t know how to react. Kelly said on All My Children two characters had to go undercover as women and the results were surprising. They showed a picture of him as Madea.
Kelly & Michael: Handshakes Are Dangerous
Anderson Cooper did a report on the germs that are surrounding us. There’s also a triple germ article in the newspaper. Handshakes are as dangerous as smoking. Researchers want doctors to give up shaking patients’ hands and to give up shaking hands in general. There are so many germs and diseases transmitted.
Michael does the pound instead of shaking hands. He wants to bow instead of that though. Kelly had someone bow to her once, but she got confused and kissed the top of his head and patted his head. Kelly said there are different greetings for people in different cultures, so she got confused. Michael’s parents lived in Korea for a year. They bring out water to wash your hands at dinner and his dad drank it.
Kelly & Michael: Airplanes Are Dangerous
Airplane seats are very infectious. There are diseases that can live on the seats for five days. Kelly brings wipes and wipes every surface. Michael doesn’t like the tray table. Merca and Ecoli survive for four days on arm rests, tray, tables, and seat pockets.
Kelly & Michael: Hot Tubs Are Dangerous
Hot tubs have the worst germs due to the water and the steamy environment. Michael said the jets fill it up with germs. You can get hot tub filiculitus.
Kelly & Michael: Alcohol Based Cleaners
Kelly heard that some germs are resistant to the anti-bacterial stuff. You need to make sure your stuff is alcohol based.
